We dropped in on the live music venue and bar to chat to the team about Shoreditch, cocktails and why Old Street Records has all the ingredients for a great night out.

People travel from all over London to Old Street Records. The atmosphere is amazing, from the variety of live music to the cocktails and pizzas, it’s always a great night.
What attracts people night after night?
The atmosphere, the engaging bartenders, the live music, the cocktails - it’s an all-round crowd pleaser! Plus, the happy hour from 5pm-8pm every day always draws people in for 2-4-1 cocktails.
Cocktail highlights
The Mango & Passionfruit Daquiri, the Tiki or the Elderflower Fizz. Raspberry Collins is also always a hit.
Highlight of the week
On Thursdays Hip Hop House Band fill up the room, they bring so much energy and the crowds love them. Thursday is the day to be here! DJ Santero is also a fan favourite - a fascinating man behind the decks, guaranteed for a great night.
What is it about Shoreditch that makes the area so special?
All the different personalities that live in and visit the area. It’s a phenomenal place with so much to do and so much going on. There are always things to see, great street art and bucket loads of culture. The area evolves with the people who enjoy it.
